I chose GWC because I liked the close-knit community, friendly faculty and small class sizes. One of the biggest benefits for me as a student has been getting all of the help I need both in and out of the classroom. I also like the safe feeling I have on campus due to its location and its beautiful scenery. The lake is just a few steps from my residence hall and classrooms!
At GWC, every student is unique, everyone is treated with respect and diversity is appreciated. It's also a place where students are given the opportunity to grow to be more independent and responsible. After being at GWC my first year, I'm even more excited to become a teacher because of the passion I see in those who are teaching me. Based on their example, I know I will always be there for my future students and challenge them to succeed.
