We believe that you can be an agent of change while protecting society and our natural environments. Through major and supportive courses in the classroom, you will learn the foundations of law, biology and the outdoors. Through an internship, you will apply this learned skill set to field experiences in outdoor workplace settings. Our wooded lakeside campus is the perfect landscape to study the protection of natural resources.
Our criminal justice program takes a different approach, emphasizing an importance in conservation while providing the basics of criminal law, emergency management, criminology and the administration of justice. You will study concepts of law integrated with liberal arts, outdoor recreation and ecology coursework. Our program will give you knowledge of the environment, law enforcement information and natural resource management skills. A strong foundation in criminal justice will allow you to gain a broader perspective on environmental problems and learn how to protect the outdoors.
