Undergraduate Applicants:

Undergraduate students are admitted on a rolling basis beginning in September of their senior year in high school.

To apply:

  • Fill out our online Application
  • Request that your high school submit your official transcript(s), including a list of senior courses. Make it easy with our transcript request form.
  • Send us your ACT or SAT scores. To send scores directly from the testing organization, use the following codes for GWC:
    • ACT: 4637
    • SAT: 1027
  • Optional: Ask a high school teacher or guidance counselor to submit a recommendation on your behalf. This should include a description of your academic and leadership record and potential.

Transfer Applicants:

Our rolling admissions policy allows us to offer admission to qualified transfer students on an ongoing basis throughout the year.

Students are considered for transfer admission if they have completed 15 semester hours or 22.5 quarter term hours of college work. They must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) in college-level courses.

To apply:

  • Check out our Community College Transfer Guide to see if your credits meet our general education requirements and will transfer to George Williams College.
  • Fill out our online Application.
  • Request that your high school and post-secondary institution(s) send us your official transcripts. Make it easy with our transcript request form.
  • Send us your ACT or SAT scores. To send scores directly from the testing organization, use the following codes for GWC:

    • SAT: 1027
  • Optional: Ask a faculty member from your current post-secondary institution or a former high school teacher to submit a recommendation on your behalf. This should include a description of your academic and leadership record and potential. 

International Applicants:

We are pleased that you are considering attending George Williams College. Admission deadlines for international students are as follows:

  • June 1: Fall Semester (August–December)
  • October 1: Spring Semester (January–May)

To apply:

  • Fill out our international student application.
  • Submit a $25, nonrefundable application fee. This must be sent in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to Aurora University[PL1]  in U.S. dollars.
  • Request that your high school and/or post-secondary institution(s) (those attended internationally and those attended in the U.S.) send your official transcripts.
  • Note: Official certified evaluations of all academic transcripts from international schools must be performed by one of the following companies:
    • Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE)
    • World Education Service (WES)
    • Center for Educational Documentation (CED)
  • All applicants educated outside of the United States from non-native speaking countries must submit proof of English competency. Please send us your official TOEFL or ESL scores.
  • Ask three references such as high school teachers or guidance counselors or post-secondary faculty members to submit a recommendation on your behalf. This should include a description of your academic and leadership record and potential.
  • Send us your ACT or SAT scores. To send scores directly from the testing organization, use the following codes for GWC:
    • ACT: 4637
    • SAT: 1027
  • Submit a Statement of Financial Resources , which is required by U.S. federal law. The form must be signed and notarized and accompanied by an original letter from a bank official certifying the availability of funds for study at George Williams College of Aurora University.
  • Those students who are admitted to George Williams and choose to accept must submit a $1,000 nonrefundable deposit to be applied to the first semester’s tuition, following registration.
  • Students requiring an I-20 will not be eligible for need-based financial aid.
  • Send us evidence of your immigration status. For international applicants in the U.S. or holding a valid U.S. Visa, please submit a copy of the current visa page(s) and I-94 card found in your passport or a copy of your Alien Registration card (front and back).
  • If you are transferring from another U.S. academic institution, you must complete an I-20 transfer to George Williams. You must also provide your current institution with a copy of your George Williams acceptance letter.
  • Additional documentation may be required for graduate students. Please contact the Center for Adult and Graduate Studies for more information.
